Flagship Project & CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

Berry Ectopia™ is the group’s principal original audiovisual IP, developed over approximately ten years. It is a speculative narrative universe combining post-apocalyptic, surreal, cosmic-horror and metaphysical storytelling centred on themes of affection, control, memory and synthetic intimacy.

Existing source material supports approximately seven major narrative instalments, with screenplays for two instalments already completed and an eighth currently in development.

The principal proof-of-world is currently being developed with César Turturro / Creavision, an Argentina-based audiovisual studio with  award-winning science-fiction credits including Invasion 2040 and NICK2040.

A separate parallel-timeline project, Project Recursive Beyond Mechanism, is also being explored with Federico Kalwill / Bélier, a U.S.-registered studio operating from Argentina with commercial work including Onitsuka Tiger.

Approximately €35,000 of founder/company and private capital has already been deployed toward audiovisual development, visual production, production planning and intellectual-property/legal preparation.

Crowdfunding and Audience Development — 2026–2027

A Kickstarter campaign is planned for March–April 2027, with Tarn Recoupable Sp. z o.o. intended to serve as the campaign-operating company.

If successfully funded, campaign proceeds are intended primarily to expand the initial audiovisual proof into approximately 4–5 minutes of cinematic material, support campaign-related production and fulfilment costs, and generate measurable international audience validation.

Supporting audience-development activity is also being planned in Seoul, including small-scale exhibitions, temporary pop-up activations and experimental public-media-art presentations based on imagery and symbolic material from the project.

International Co-production Development

South Korea is being explored as a potential creative, production and financing territory for the future feature-film stage of the project.

The company is preparing discussions with experienced Korean producers, co-production companies and relevant film-sector institutions regarding a possible Korea–Europe international co-production structure.

No Korean public funding or co-production financing is currently treated as secured revenue.

Cross-media and Longer-term Business Potential

The flagship IP is designed for potential extension into film, video games, graphic novels, illustrated/audio publications, public media art, exhibitions, licensed collaborations and selected merchandise.

Its fictional languages and ancient-script-inspired writing systems also create reusable design assets for graphic, projection, installation and physical-product applications. Tarn Recoupable is additionally developing other original in-house IP beyond the flagship project.

Potential future collaborations may include work with independent design and lifestyle-product companies, including Polish partners, where commercially appropriate and subject to separate agreements.

Financial Pipeline / Business Model

Project Berry Ectopia™

Expected Use of Funds

Company expenditure is expected to include:

  • payments to audiovisual production and post-production studios;

  • illustration, design, animation and other creative services;

  • marketing and crowdfunding campaign expenses;

  • campaign reward manufacturing and fulfilment;

  • exhibition and temporary event costs;

  • professional legal, accounting and intellectual-property services;

  • licensing and commercial-collaboration expenses;

  • normal company administration and operating costs.

Current and Near-term Sources of Funds

The company’s expected financial activity includes:

  • founder/company capital;

  • existing and future digital publication sales;

  • crowdfunding proceeds through platforms such as Kickstarter;

  • campaign-related product and reward sales;

  • commercial collaboration and licensing income;

  • project-development or co-production investment, where separately agreed.

Potential future public-sector film or cultural grants in Europe or South Korea may supplement individual projects, but such funding is subject to application and selection and is not treated as guaranteed operating income.

Longer-term Revenue Model

As the intellectual property develops, potential revenue sources include film and audiovisual licensing, co-production participation, video games, graphic and audio publications, digital sales, merchandise, design collaborations, exhibitions and other project-specific licensing arrangements.

The business model is therefore intended to develop progressively from

privately financed IP development and direct digital sales → crowdfunding and audience validation →
professional co-production and licensing →
broader cross-media commercialisation.

Brief Founder bio

YI-YU CHEN is the reality-weaving artisan behind Berry Ectopia™ / founder of Tarn Recoupable Sp. z o.o. (and Tarn Recoupable OÜ under the Estonian E-residency) where his highly perceptive mind, in his early twenties in 2015, lived through the seemingly invisible ultra-isolation wrapped up in societal formalism in an insular Southeast Asian megapolis resembling the beehive prism.

Such awareness, immersion, and pragmatic can-do / advocator mentality prompted him to create the Berry Ectopia™ world, a genre-defying blend of surreal post-apocalyptic saga, philosophical sci-fi, and supernatural horror. Through the aching lyricism of ‘existential romance’, a new recognition of affection is born — Mutated Berry Romanticism.

Through originality and relevance, he hopes to bring depth and purpose to the creative industry and the life of viewers, disrupt entrenched life patterns, and help viewers regain the courage to imagine positivity in the world.

He holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, and he is also the author of the publication Revoice: Uncurling the Involute Carrier of Reality under the pseudonym Kernfisk Oehnrloera.

A genre-defying odyssey into the depths of human consciousness and the quest for authenticity in a world dominated by superficial routines, blending history, myth, metaphysics, the supernatural and esotericism, diseases and their metaphysical significance, consciousness and DNA, nature of reality, and the voice variants in the minds into one live wire of inquiry.
