Such awareness, immersion, and pragmatic can-do / advocator mentality prompted him to create the Berry Ectopia™ world, a genre-defying blend of surreal post-apocalyptic saga, philosophical sci-fi, and supernatural horror. The emotional awakening of an individual immune to all these therefore threatens to unravel a buried civilisation held together by control, memory, and synthetic affection. Movement through this world is therefore not solely geographical but psychic: Love can cause seismic events, grief can freeze progress, and affection itself is a forbidden force capable of tearing open alternate timelines.
